Bet365 poker players have a wide selection of daily tournaments including scheduled, Sit and Go, multi-table and single table options. Beyond the standard types of tournaments, Bet365 Poker also offers some significant satellites for players to earn packages to international events like the World Series of Poker. Whatever stakes or style level players prefer, plenty of tournament options are available for players at Bet365.

Scheduled Tournaments

A full list of daily scheduled tournaments run at Bet365 Poker at a rate of approximately three to four per hour. The most popular game type for tournaments at Bet365 Poker is No Limit Texas Hold'em. However, this comes in several varieties as well, such as freezeouts, rebuys, guaranteed prize tournaments and turbo tournaments that play nearly twice as fast as standard tournaments. Some satellite tournaments make the scheduled tournaments list, including qualifiers for the Irish Open, ECPT and GUKPT. Stakes on the tournament list range from buy-ins of $5 to $50 and €4 to €200.

The new Monthly Million Guaranteed Tournament is the biggest deal on the scene at Bet365 Poker. In some months, poker pro Jesper Hougaard will be seated among the players at the Monthly Million. With a prize pool of a million dollars, the top place is a guaranteed win of $200,000. All together the scheduled tournaments award over $20,000,000 in guaranteed prizes each month.

Satellites at Bet365

Satellite tournaments are part of the regular tournament schedule. Live event packages for major international poker tournaments are among the prizes. Winning satellite players can earn seats in the Euro City Poker Tour in Barcelona, steps of the World Poker Tour, World Series of Poker Events and the Irish Open.

Satellite events have some guaranteed prize pools as well. The format for all the current satellites are No Limit Hold'em at various stakes and buy-in levels. The main current satellite tournaments at Bet365 are:

  • $250,000 Guaranteed Big Sunday
  • Friday $150,000 Guaranteed R/A
  • $50,000 GP High Roller Monday
  • $50,000 GP Super Tuesday R/A
  • $50,000 GP Freezeout
  • $50,000 GP Rebuy
  • $25,000 Double Stack Freezeout

Sit and Go

Four main sit and go tournaments are the highlight at Bet365 Poker. These are the progressive Jackpot Sit and Go's: Dirty Dozen, Maui, Rio and Fort Knox. Each of these progressive Sit and Go's can turn winning players into large jackpot champions. The Dirty Dozen has the lowest buy-in and the smallest progression. Players who complete four consecutive Dirty Dozen wins earn a jackpot of at least $2000.

With higher stakes, the challenge also gets higher for the Maui, Rio and Fort Knox progressives. Requiring five and six consecutive wins, the prize jackpots can climb to more than $1 million if no single player reaches the consecutive wins. Once a player wins the jackpots, they reset at their lowest levels with prizes of $15,000 to $50,000.

Freerolls

Only a limited number of freerolls occur at Bet365 Poker. The two most publicized, and available for regular players are the Casino Games Freeroll and the €500 Freeroll. Beginners have the option of daily freerolls as well, which they may play up to four times in any seven day period. There are two reserved New Depositor freerolls: the 100,000 Merit Points Freeroll, which occurs weekly, and the Monthly $1500 New Depositor Freeroll. These are limited only to those who've made a first deposit within 30 days at Bet365.

Tournament Competition Levels

Many tournament players at Bet365 are not highly experienced players, but taking skill for granted could be costly at some points. Where there are more tough challengers, the competition levels are not unbeatable, enticing middle level players and up to take on greater and greater risks in tournament play. The Casino Games Freeroll and lower limits tournaments will have much looser competition than higher stakes tourneys such as the Monthly Million.

Overall tournament traffic at Bet365 averages around 55,000 players at peak times during the week. Typically, multi-table tournaments are hosting from 250 to 700 players, making enough competition to be worthwhile but not as strenuous or exhausting as several thousand player tourneys. There are also a wide selection of tournaments offered daily. That being the case, savvy players with sufficient skill should be able to get deep in the money in most tournaments they play.
