In a Sit & Go tournament, players do not have to wait until a scheduled time to begin playing. Rather, the nature of Sit & Go tournaments is that when your table is filled up with players, you can begin to play.

Types of Sit & Gos

Everest Poker's Sit & Go tournaments are divided between single and multi-table tournaments and Double Up and Triple Up Sit & Gos.

  • Single Table Tournaments: Since this is a single-table elimination Sit & Go, this tournament will go very quickly. Single Table Tournaments hold ten or six-person tables.
  • Multi-Table Tournaments: You will most definitely be able to win more money at Everest Poker's Multi-Table Sit & Go Tournaments. The games range from 18 seats to 150. The maximum amount of tables is 15.
  • Double Up: In a Double Up Sit & Go, you will win if you are on of the remaining top half of players at your table. At a six-seat table, the top 3 winners will split the pot.
  • Triple Up: The same idea applies in the Triple Up tournaments, except that only the top third of the table will win.

Sit & Go Steps

Just like Everest Poker's VIP Summit Club reward program allows you to climb its tiers every month, so does its Sit & Go Steps program that enables players to work their way up to the top of the tournaments.

Sit & Go Steps is the perfect place for a player who does not want to buy his way into a tournament. Instead, when you register and play in a Steps tournament, a first or second place win will allow you to rise to the next step and enable you to play in specific tournaments without having to pay a buy-in.

There are six levels in Sit & Go Steps, but if you do not want to wait to rise up, you can buy into any level you like.

When you win first or second place at a Steps tournament, you will be given a token to be used in any Everest Poker tournament you want. Money prizes for the winners range from $2,500 - $10,000.

Free Sit & Gos

Everest Poker also offers a chance for players to participate in Sit & Gos for free. When you sign up for Everest Poker, you can play at a Shasta or Rhume table. You must go to your account and click on the Real Money button and then put yourself on a waiting list. Since there is a $0 buy-in for Shasta and Rhume tables, you might have to wait a while to play. Everest Poker will alert you when there is an available seat.

Sit and go tournaments can be very advantageous for any player who wants to jump right into tournament action. With its table options, heads up options, Sit & Go rewards program and opportunities for free Sit & Gos, Everest Poker truly has a multitude of Sit & Go options for any kind of player who does not want to wait for scheduled tournaments.
