While most online poker rooms are building star-studded teams of professional players, Paradise Poker is working on another angle. Regular Players As Paradise Representatives

Having a person represent a particular online poker site at a live event like a World Poker Tour, fully decked out in hats, shirts and poker gear is a great means of advertising for the site. When that person is a well-known player who generates media and poker attention because of their personality or winning play, the common association for average players is "If I play at that poker room, I can be like Phil Ivey, Jesper Hougaard or Isildur1." There are so many choices of poker pros to learn from and poker rooms at which to play.

Paradise Poker is throwing open the doors to the average player and giving them the chance to be one of the pros. How to Become Part of Team Paradise

Becoming a member of Team Paradise might then seem like a difficult task for the everyday player, but it's not. At its core, any player who qualifies for a live event seat via winning at a Paradise Poker satellite is eligible to be a Team Paradise player. Players simply register for a satellite multi-table tournament leading toward one of the international live events, pay the appropriate fees and buy-in and get to playing.

The satellite tournament packages guarantee at least one, and sometimes more packages in the final qualifier to the main event. Currently Spring 2012 events are in the process of satellite qualifiers for the Irish Open, the European Paradise Poker Tour and the Greek Poker Tour. Daily low buy-in satellite winners move up to weekly larger stakes qualifiers. Weekly winners move to the monthly final online qualifier to compete for a slot in the live event. Anyone who earns a live spot in the main events will go as a member of Team Paradise, representing Paradise Poker.

2012 Events for Team Paradise

Though the Team doesn't have a guaranteed list of events, since it will change based on which players qualify for which live events, there is an expected tour list based on past events. The expected Team Paradise Events for 2012 include:

• Helsinki Freezeout
• Scottish Poker Championship
• European Poker Tour
• Greek Poker Tour

Already, at least 100 Paradise Poker players are anticipated to be the Team Paradise representatives at Las Vegas 2012. Other tours and events will be added to this list based on player's qualifying wins.

Paradise Poker players have an equal shot at becoming Team Paradise members. Playing at Paradise Poker not only gives players a rich gaming experience, it makes live events a regular part of the anticipation and games that Paradise Poker offers. In addition to its own Paradise Poker European Tour legs in Madrid and Prague, Paradise Poker will gladly send its regular pros to a number of live events as Team Paradise players.
