Paradise Poker has reliable Boss Media software powering its host of games, tournaments and satellites. When Paradise moved from the iPoker network to Boss Media, the software underwent helpful upgrades to improve players' experience at Paradise Poker.

Software Designer

Paradise Poker has recently changed from using the iPoker network to being part of Boss Media network, with over 80 fellow gaming sites sharing the same software design. The software is reliable with few reported problems, but it is not as fast as some competitors. However, it loads effectively and is simple to navigate. As updates become available, they load automatically on most computers to keep the software current, secure and running most effectively.

Overall Look

The Paradise Poker software has a blue ocean background consistent with its website theme. The lobby and player pages include a statistics box tracking a player's Frequent Player Points, bonus amounts, available balance and other key stats. The player lobby includes selection tabs for seven different areas:

  • Tables
  • Profile
  • Settings

  • Ladder
  • Promos

Each tab has its related information on subtabs that open up when the player clicks on the main tab. The Tables tab, where players will search for games, includes:

  • Available ring games types: Texas Hold'em, Omaha Games, Draw Games, Stud Games
  • Stakes and limits
  • Lists of open tables under each game tab
  • Separate tabs for Sit'N'Gos and Multitourneys for tournament selection
  • Game language (marked by the country's flag next to the table in the list)
  • Filter options to find tables by language

The table view windows include each seat with player names, current bids and an action countdown clock for each player's turn. The bottom of the window includes the in-play navigation tabs, such as:

  • Chat
  • Settings
  • Cashier
  • Game information (also listed at the top of the window)
