'PKR.net' is the world's most advanced poker room and when they introduced their play money internet poker room, it soon became the most advanced of its kind. There are a couple things that PKR.net could add to their site to make it even better, like more game varieties. Unfortunately at this time PKR.net is a Holdem and Omaha only poker room, so if you were looking for something else, you will need to keep looking. However, if you are like most of the world that is infatuated with the poker craze, you love Omaha and Holdem, so you are not disappointed at all. As I mentioned before, the software used at PKR.net is top of the line software that you won't find at other web based poker rooms. The software has great game speeds and is easy to navigate and get used to, plus there are tons of awesome features available to you as soon as you download the PKR.net software. Because their software is so top notch, it is only available in a downloadable version. This may be a let down for Linux and MAC users as this software is not yet compatible with those operating systems.
Some of the unique features they have are; customized full body avatars, 9 different poker setting locations, make facial expressions/tells, note other players tells, view the table from multiple views and more. The customized full body avatars have got to be one of the coolest features this amazing software has. You will have the chance to make an avatar look just like you, or however you want it to look. You can change clothes, hair and more. Another awesome feature is that you are able to choose between 9 different settings for where you want to play poker. There are different settings to try to cover everyone like their bar setting or the television studio setting to give you the feel of a real poker pro.
By far the best feature is the ability to make facial expressions. If you ask a poker pro the difference between playing online and playing in real life, they will tell you that online play is harder because you are unable to see the other players. Without being able to see the other players, there is not a chance for you to gain information on their tells. A tell is a facial expression or action you make when you have good or bad cards in your hand. This can be blinking, fidgeting or talking a lot.
