These are the basic rules of Crazy Pineapple Poker.
- Step 1: Crazy Pineapple begins in an almost identical manner to Texas Hold'em. Two players post the small and large blind, and the additional players follow by staking their antes.
- Step 2: The dealer provides each player with three hole cards face down. The players then look at their cards and evaluate the strength of the hand.
- Step 3: Another round of betting occurs.
- Step 4: The dealer reveals the flop, which consists of three community cards that are dealt face-up in the middle of the table. Crazy Pineapple Poker is unique in that players must now discard one of their three hole cards. At this point, players are required to examine their hands and determine which card is least valuable.
- Step 5: The dealer flips over the turn card, and another round of betting occurs.
- Step 6: The final card, called the river, is revealed by the dealer. The last round of betting takes place, and the player with the best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
Additional Crazy Pineapple Poker Tips

- Good hands in other poker games may not work as well in Crazy Pineapple.
- Discarding aces from a hand can actually be beneficial since a single pair is not often a winning hand.
- Watch out for flushes and straights.
