Bet365 Poker was launched in October 2010 is the first and only iPhone real money online poker application. Since Apple keeps very tight control over their apps offered in the App Store, Switch Poker is not an app in the true sense. Instead, it is an Internet browser based program that you play directly through your iPhones Internet browser.
While most browser poker applications use flash, which is not supported by iPhone, switch poker was built using HTML 5. HTML 5 is Apple's preferred alternative to flash, and is supported on all Apple devices including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. While Switch Poker is in no way perfect is the only option if you play online poker on your iPhone currently. It is recommended that if you play poker for real money on your iPhone with Switch Poker you should be connected to a Wi-Fi connection so that you don't lose service the middle of and, otherwise you might lose a pot. To reiterate, it is very important to only play on a stable Internet connection; preferably Wi-Fi. If you attempt to play poker with your 3G connection on the edge network, it is very possible that you can lose your connection and be disconnected in the middle of playing a hand for real money. You will have 30 seconds to reconnect and continue with the hand or your hand will be folded and the other player will win the pot and your money.

One tip that I noticed right away that would improve your gameplay immensely is to increase the time in your iPhone settings for your screen shuts down. I know my phone screen shuts down after 1 min. of inactivity. While you are waiting for other players to complete a hand your phone may shut down and you have to reconnect, so before planning the first time, go into your phone settings and increase the default setting to two or three minutes at least.
