Poker Tips has seven main sections. These sections include their home page which has links to areas where you can go to gain more information on various poker subjects, a weekly shuffle section which directs you to a weekly article page, the poker rules section where you can learn about the rules for Texas Hold’em, the poker strategy section which offers tips and strategy for players of all levels, the site review section which offers reviews of online poker rooms, a tools section which contains a poker hand simulator, and the terms of use section.

PokerTips.com has over 66,000 pages including forum pages which are dedicated to the game of poker. The main pages contain a lot of information, and it is intuitive to navigate to these pages with nice animated graphics which provide visual cues to where each section is by just scanning the page.
The forum is a happening place which provides many informative threads regarding various aspects of poker and poker rooms. With more than 16,000 members contributing to over 44,000 threads, the forum provides a place where players can go to get in on interesting discussions with others. The forum does take a minute to get used to due to the dark color scheme with bright text. However, once you get past the appearance you will find the forum very useful.
The poker strategy section is well laid out and provides information for each level of player. The levels are structured in an obvious manner which allows a person to locate their level quickly. By clicking on the different sections you will be able to learn on everything from poker terms (jargon) to advanced strategy geared toward advanced players.

The Poker Tips website appears to use top link navigation. However, when you take a closer look you realize the links at the top of the home page don’t actually go to the main sections of the site. This sections can be accessed from the links which are located in the middle of the page. The website is not the most user friendly website and tends to be randomly thrown together. The website has a lot of useful content, it would be better served if it was well organized.
