Team Titan Poker Players - The Advantages and Requirements for Team Titan

Team Titan is made up of a group of twelve players who, every year, represent their countries in poker tournaments around the world. Being a member of Team Titan is considered a highly coveted position as Team Titan members are given a 6 month opportunity to play in as many international tournaments as they like and see different parts of the world while using Titan Poker's budget. Because of the way it is setup, the members of Team Titan are constantly changing.

In order to become a member of Team Titan, you literally must be the best Titan Poker player from your home country. Each December, the Team Titan members are picked and will begin their 6 month tournament tour beginning in January.

Advantages to Team Titan

Along with all of the money you will make, when you participate as a member of Team Titan you will receive:

• A 6-month sponsorship for you to travel around the world and participate in poker tournaments.
• A huge lump sum of money to use for buy-ins at tournaments.
• Your own webpage through Titan Poker in which you can post your biography, poker tips and random thoughts to players around the world.
• Team Titan Poker gear that you will wear to all of your tournaments.

Requirements

Like every other poker team, Team Titan has some requirements for its twelve players. Team Titan members must:

• Wear Titan Poker shirts and hats to all tournaments and events.
• Put at least 10% of their tournament winnings back into their Titan Poker bank account.
• Help publicize Titan Poker and increase their membership.
• Add new blogs or material to your Titan Poker website at least once every month.
• Take pictures at all tournaments you participate in for documentation with Titan Poker.
• Sign up and participate in 3 or 4 real tournaments within the 6 month sponsorship.

Team Titan Poker members will not be receiving funds directly from Titan Poker. Rather, their buy-in budget will be paid directly to the tournaments in which they will be participating. Team Titan players must pay for their own travel and board abroad themselves. Titan Poker wants its Team Titan members to participate in as many tournaments as possible and any money that is left in their budget that is not used for buy-ins will go back to Titan Poker.

Participating Countries

Team Titan members represent their various countries. Unless otherwise indicated, one player per year is allowed on Team Titan from each of the following countries:

• Canada
• Germany (3 players allowed on Team Titan)
• France (2 players allowed on Team Titan)
• Italy (2 players allowed on Team Titan)
• Russia
• Spain
• Scandinavia
• The Netherlands

If you are a member of Titan Poker and are not from any of the above listed countries, you will unfortunately not be eligible to qualify for a spot on Team Titan. You will, however, still be allowed to participate in the qualifying monthly tournaments for the cash prize only.

Qualifying for Team Titan

In order to qualify to be a member of Team Titan, Titan Poker players must participate in weekly qualifying tournaments. Winning the weekly qualifying tournaments will enable players to participate in the monthly qualifying tournaments. If a player wins the monthly qualifying tournament, he or she will be given a spot in the December Team Titan determining tournament.

Another way to become a member of Team Titan is to consistently remain a top player in the Titan Poker Team races.
