Downloading and Installing Ultimate Bet Mac

1. Visit UltimateBet.com
2. Click the blue Download button found in the menu bar at the top of the Ultimate Bet homepage.
3. Click the large poker chip under "Download: Play Poker Now" located in the middle of the screen. The software will automatically download to your computer. A new window will open on your Mac, including the UB application.
4. Drag the UB icon to the Applications folder found in the Mac hard drive.
5. Double-click on the Ultimate Bet application. A message will appear, warning you that you've downloaded an application from the Internet. Click Open.
6. Read the license agreement and click "Yes, I Agree to Terms."
7. The UB software will now automatically download a 32 MB software update. After this update completes, the UB Mac application will be ready for use.
8. Following the download, the UB lobby will automatically open.

Next, you can drag the UB icon from your Applications folder to your Dock for easier access. If and when Ultimate Bet releases additional software updates, they'll automatically download and install when you open the UB application.

System Requirements for Ultimate Bet Mac

The system requirements for UB Mac are very lenient, and you should be able to run the Ultimate Bet software on any Mac developed within the last several years. You'll need the following minimum system specs:

Differences Between the Mac and Windows versions of Ultimate Bet

Unfortunately, the Mac version of Ultimate Bet is missing a few features that are included with the Windows version. Ultimate Bet is constantly working to add new features to all versions of their software, and you can expect these differences to be minimized or eliminated entirely at some point in the future.

• The Windows version of Ultimate Bet supports multi-tabling with up to 20 tables. However, in the Mac version, a maximum of 5 tables plus single player blackjack can be opened at once.
• The Windows version of UB allows you to use and customize hot keys. The Mac version does not.
• The Mac version of UB does not support cascading and tiling tables, nor does it allow alternate table views.
• Although you can play all of UB's cash games and Hold 'em tournaments on a Mac, you cannot play tournaments of the Stud, Omaha, or Mixed Game varieties.

Aside from these differences, the versions are the same. The lobbies look identical, deposit and withdrawal methods are uniform and table game play looks and feels the same in both the Mac and Windows versions of the downloadable Ultimate Bet software.
