A Step tournament is a special type of Sit and Go that allows you to eventually win a seat in a lucrative land based tournament by playing a series of smaller tournaments with increasingly large buy-ins. The benefit a Step tournament is that when you win or take second place in one Step you gain free entry to the next Step. If you take 3rd or 4th, you replay the current Step for free.
