Pokerstars Withdrawals - Getting Money From Your Pokerstars Account
Pokerstars tries to keep a simple and clear system for issuing player cashouts or account withdrawals. Clearly listing the policies and time frames is the first step of that process. Players have many options for making withdrawals from Pokerstars accounts. Whether direct deposits or eChecks, account credits or certified hard copy checks, players can select their best methods of receiving winning funds back from Pokerstars.
How To Make Account Withdrawals
To make a withdrawal, players must:
- Login to their Pokerstars account and go to the lobby
- Select the Cashier button
- Click on Cash Out
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
- Click on the Submit button
In many cases, the withdrawals will be processed using the same method as your preferred deposit method. The next step of the cashout process is a request confirmation screen, which details the anticipated means of distributing a player's withdrawal. Because of connection and account limitations, Pokerstars reserves the right to change the distribution method as it becomes necessary to complete the transactions.
When a cashout request is approved, Pokerstars begins issuing funds as charges reversals equal to the amounts of your oldest deposits via credit, debit or virtual card or from e-wallet accounts. If the amounts of withdrawal are larger than the payments from the accounts, thus leaving a surplus of funds, players can elect several more options for collecting the rest of the withdrawal amounts. Standardizing the methods of withdrawals helps ensure that players' winnings get processed effectively and accurately since so many players from all over the world play at Pokerstars regularly.
Cashouts will automatically process in this way through any means a player has used to make a deposit at Pokerstars. In order, the withdrawals will be issued to:
- Maestro and Solo accounts
- Neteller accounts
- Moneybookers, Click2Pay and Click and Buy accounts
When the withdrawal amount exceeds the payment amounts of one payment type, the processing moves to the next payment type until the full withdrawal amount is distributed.
Approved Methods of Withdrawals and Cashouts
As an internationally accessible poker room, the means of deposit and withdrawal at Pokerstars vary from country to country. Using a particular method for making deposits often means that same method is able to support withdrawals on the player's account as well. If a player's approved withdrawal amount exceeds the total payments made through any of the above means, the player can select the means of cashing out the rest of the withdrawal.
With the exception of paper checks by mail or direct bank account deposits, every other form of withdrawal requires players to have used that method or account for a deposit with Pokerstars. For example, in order to request a withdrawal be credited to a player's Visa card, the player must have first made a purchase (deposit) at Pokerstars with that same Cash Funds Transfer (CFT) eligible card. Here are the withdrawal format options:
- eChecks in the US and Canada
- e-wallets such as Neteller, Moneybookers, Moneta (Russia only), Click and Buy, Click2Pay, WebMoney and Entropay
- Direct bank account transfer in countries with supporting banks
- Paper checks in one of nine major currencies including Euros, US/Canadian/Australian dollars and Swiss Francs
